DISH Network 129 Satellite is having issues...here is the current fix!

**HELP WITH DISH NETWORK SATELLITE OUTAGE**

Many people are currently experiencing issues with DISH Network's 129 satellite being out.  While I cannot tell you what the problem is or when it will be fixed as I do not know, I can off you some assistance in getting your satellite system back up and running again.  Please follow the directions below for help. 

Step 1: Hit "Menu" button

Step 2: Hit the number "6"

Step 3: Hit the number "1"

Step 4: Hit the number "1" again

Step 5: Go to "Check Switch"

Step 6: Hit "Select"

Step 7: Go to "Test"

Step 8: Hit "Select"

Step 9: Allow your system to run a check switch (3-4 minutes)

Step 10: You will get an error message that says "You have found fewer satellites"--THIS is OK!

Step 11: Highlight "Save" and hit "Select" (a pop-up will ask you if you are sure, make sure you save it)

Step 12: You will see the results screen, hit "Done"

Step 13: You will now see the "System Strength" screen, let it sit here for a minute until you see a pop up screen show up and go off.

Step 14: A green bar will show on the bottom of your screen...WAIT until it says "Locked"

Step 15: Hit the "Cancel" button until you are completely out of that screen...this will take about 3-4 minutes

Step 16: Then it will go to a screen that says it is down...loading the guide information.

Step 17: Wait for the green bar to go all the way across...this will take 4-6 minutes.

Step 18: When it is done it will take you to channel 101.

Step 19: From there, you can start watching your television again.

The whole process should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

**NOTE** When the 129 comes back on, you will need to repeat this whole process.

We just opened our store demo Tailgater this week and we were so excited to hook it up for the first time.  Having sold DISH Network for over 11 years and working with numerous antennas on RVs and boats for a variety of satelite providers, we were anxious to see if the Tailgater would be everything that was promised...and we weren't disappointed! 

Right from the start when you open your box, the Tailgater is ready to go.  It comes with the single RG-6 coax cable that you need to attach the Tailgater to your receiver box and a simple instruction booklet for easy step-by-step set-up.  Safely resting underneath the styrofoam packaging lies a thing of beauty...your Tailgater! 

It's easy to pull it out of the box due to it's sleek handle and mere 10lbs.  All you have to do is set it in a spot that has a clear view of the southern sky, connect it to a Vip211k DISH Network reciever box, plug the reciever into your power source and television and choose the state that you are in.  (I recommend doing the first download from your DISH Network antenna on your home satellite dish if you are activating a new Vip211k reciever.  If you purchase your Tailgater from TruMedia, we will make sure that your new Vip211k has already been downloaded the first time.)  Within a few minutes, your reciever will have downloaded everything and you will be enjoying an amazing array of channels from DISH Network! 

The first time we set ours up, we actually had to put our ear right to the Tailgater and could hardly hear any type of movement as the antenna was aligning itself, it was AMAZING!

To sweeten the deal even more, if you want to make your Vip211k receiver a DVR, all you have to do is have USB External Hard-drive and for a $40.00 fee, DISH Network will allow you to have DVR functionality on your Vip211k receiver!  Talk about SWEET!
